From its beginnings as a vaudeville theatre where Charlie Chaplin once appeared to its current incarnation as a magnet for a fantastic spectrum of performers and artists, education and inspiration, 142 Throckmorton Theatre has long been an important part of Mill Valley and Bay Area cultural life.
Maintaining this unique venue and the diversity and quality of programming depends on your support. Tickets only cover 66% of the actual cost of the productions and the balance must be raised from our community of donors. We ask for your help in maintaining and growing this community asset by donating to 142 Throckmorton Theatre today.
Operating on a $1.2 million annual budget, 142 Throckmorton Theatre serves an annual audience of nearly 70,000 music, art, comedy, theatre, dance and lecture patrons each year. In addition we reach out into our community providing professional space for school art and theatre programs, master classes, and a unique location for non-profit fundraisers and private events.
